Handpicked Castle Glen grown Chambourcin and Shiraz grapes. The Chambourcin grape is a unique French Hybrid Variety and is noted for its distinctive dark colouring - dark purple lilac in colour with crimson, cerise hues and herbaceous aroma. Blended with the Shiraz Grape adds structure to this elegant young wine. Having been grown in the cool climate of the Granite Belt the Shiraz is lighter bodied and much more spicy showing black pepper aromatics. Matured in American Oak Barrels for 18 months. Perfect with lamb dishes including warm lamb salad for summer.
No added sulphites (preservatives) and no artificial colouring used.
