Handpicked Satsuma Plums (Blood Plum) from the Granite Belt have been used in this Dark Plum 1999 Vintage Fortified Wine. The Satsuma Plum is known for its dark red flesh and with a little bit of tartness. Matured with 2 Year Old Brandy and aged in American Oak Barrels for 18 years has developed an intensity, depth and concentration of the plum fruit. This Plum Fortified is beautifully rich and smooth. Non-filtration ensures the Plum Fortified will continue to mature in the bottle for many more years.
